Design Work
Hi, there! My name is Cynthia Toso and I am a Graphic Designer based in Atlanta, GA. On this site you will find my personal graphic design portfolio. I am employed full-time as a web designer while still enjoying the occasional freelance work on the side. I specialize mostly in logos, stationery, packaging and various other forms of print design but I’m no stranger to web design, email marketing campaigns and other digital platforms. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Georgia State University.
Personal Life
I grew-up in Queens, New York and Santiago, Chile. I got my first passport when I was 4 months old and I can’t seem to stop wanting to go everywhere. I prefer walking over driving, dark chocolate over milk and with the right tune, I can be surprisingly domestic. When I’m not working or planning a trip somewhere I spend my time going out with friends and family, catching-up on my favorite TV shows and reading design blogs, as well as, the most random pages on Wikipedia. Every four years I go a little bonkers for a month during the World Cup. I have a small fascination with perfumes and fragrances in general and if I ever need something to do, people watching is always at the top of my list. Also, languages, I find incredibly interesting. I speak English, Spanish and Italian (hoping to make time for French and Japanese in the future).
Social Networks
I’m a big fan of Human Interaction. Call me crazy, but I prefer the sound of someone’s laughter over the letters “LOL” or “LMAO” popping up on my screen. Don’t get me wrong. Social Networking is all fine and dandy. I mean, how else could I, immediately with the click of one button, share with the world that my flight is delayed and the person next to me has begun their campaign for arm rest domination. So, yeah, technology is pretty awesome. At the end of the day, anything (digital or not) that helps me be more efficient and productive, is good by me.
